Dr SAM MELLATI

MD, FRACGP, Certif. of skin cancer & Dermoscopy, Monash certif. of occ. med.

Dr Mellati has over 15 years of GP experience. He obtained his fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010.

His special interests are chronic disease management, skin cancer & occupational medicine. Sam is passionate about teaching and is a supervisor of 4th yr medical students of Monash University.

He is also an approved Rail Safety Medical, Qld Mine Medicals and Injury-Net provider as well as being affiliated with Jobfit and Australia Post to provide comprehensive early intervention injury management to injured workers and employees.

Sam is multi-lingual and is fluent in Persian(Farsi)/Dari.

Dr MAHAN NOORAEE

MD, FRACGP, Medical Acupuncturist

Dr Mahan Nooraee is a passionate general practitioner who believes that patient care should be a physician’s first priority. She obtained her Medical Degree in 2010 in Iran and soon after moved to Australia. Dr Nooraee has a great experience in both hospital and general practice in Australia. She completed her training in Medical Acupuncture in 2019. She is also a fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

She enjoys all area of general practice and her special interest are preventative medicine, skin, women’s health, acupuncture and paediatrics.

Mahan is multi-lingual and is fluent in Persian/Farsi.

Ruchi

Physiotheraphist

Ruchi completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Physiotherapy Practice degree from LaTrobe University and has been in private practice since 2013. She has also completed her post-graduate certificate in Health Service Management from University of Technology in Sydney.

She strongly advocates self-management and teaches her clients to take charge of their own health. Outside the clinic, she is an active member of Science of Spirituality, a non-profit organization promoting meditation. She enjoys swimming and music in her free time with her two kids. She loves being a physiotherapist and wants to keep progressing in this career.

She has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions and believes in providing holistic management to her clients. She has expertise in using Dry Needling on her patients to help reduce inflammation and tightness as it is evidence based technique. She promotes extensive rehabilitation through Clinical Pilates and GLAD program and uses it to achieve long term goals for her patients. She also is trained to treat TMJ problems.

Ruchi is multi-lingual and is fluent in Hini and Punjabi

Vivien

Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)

Vivien Tsang graduated with Honours in her Bachelor in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Surrey (UK) and further consolidated her studies with a Master in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Wollongong (NSW). She is a member of the Dietitians Australia and holds qualification as an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Accredited Nutritionist.

She has vast experience in dietetic practice including previous roles as a home-visit consulting dietitian, nutritionist in health food stores and community dietitian holding Healthy Eating talks and Diabetes Supermarket Tours.

Vivien is passionate about helping others to achieve their health goals and enjoys the privilege of journeying with each client in empowering them to adopt a long term healthy lifestyle. Vivien emphasise on providing realistic and sustainable dietary plan, tailored for each client according to their medical needs, lifestyle and preferences, as well as providing education to enhance clients’ nutritional awareness around the food they have.

Special Interests: Heart and Cardiovascular related conditions, Diabetes and Blood Sugar Management, Weight Management and Healthy Eating, Digestive disorders and Food intolerances, Healthy Ageing and Malnutrition.

Ms Sheida Badiee/Counselling Psychologist (Commencing May 2024)

Sheida is an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) endorsed Counselling Psychologist and a board-approved Supervisor. She has over 13 years of experience in addressing a broad range of issues like stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, cross-cultural adjustments, identity, personal growth, resillience, motivation, study/work/life balance and relationship matters. Her personal multi-cultural background, friendly, open and approachable presence enagages both adults and teenagers in a collaborative counselling process aimed to improve their mood and wellbeing. She uses evidence-based therapies tailored to the individual needs of her clients.
